Three Hours a Non-Smoker

If you have resolutions for the new year, there are a few days left. Raise your glass. Let us put off once more the thing we said we would do, and we both know how that ends.

You have heard this sentence as often as I have: „I managed three hours without a cigarette.“

Three hours a non-smoker. That counts for something.

And where, by the way, is your vision paper? Your collage of pictures for the coming year, the one you carry on your phone and page through daily to keep the focus?

Your vision, it's so important, blah blah. Make a collage, blah blah. Your subconscious, blah blah. Every coach says this in the first free call now.

But I have to admit something.

The subconscious does love a ritual. It wants things to line up.

Rituals work — for putting an old thing down and for starting a new one. And a year turning over is as good a hinge as you will get.

So if you haven't started, this is a decent week for it. Even with a collage.
