A New Shade
What follows may sound strange to you. But you are here, sharing this moment with me, so you probably feel it too.
Something is shifting.
I know people who have the same impression and none of us can name it properly. It is as though somebody added a colour to the mixture. Something is in the air, something new, which we can't take hold of and can still feel if we go quiet enough to notice.
You can see it in the eyes of the people you keep close.
You feel it when you turn inward. There is more current in you than there was. You are slowly turning into the person you actually are, and if that were not happening you would have stopped reading three lines ago.
What is finished may go.
The old patterns are losing their grip. We are still tied to old obligations, and those obligations are precisely what makes the journey interesting; real freedom is always attached to a promise somewhere.
That is the part nobody puts on the poster.
